[Mark Gonzales ]: 12:02 pm: Ken Griffey Jr. is one of only six players to hit at least 600 home runs and has been named to 13 All-Star teams. But the Sox are banking the 38-year-old Griffey has enough production left to help them to the post-season. The Whte Sox acquisition of the Cincinnati [...]

During the offseason it has been speculated that the Cowboys could move Jay Ratliff back to defensive end, especially if Tank Johnson shows improvement at NT during training camp. At the very least it would benefit the Cowboys if they could institute a rotation along the defensive line, maximizing match-ups to their advantage. Well, [...]

[...]

Wednesday’s practice session came and went without much in the way of breaking news. However, there was a report from the Houston Texans own Brooke Bentley that said free agent running back Mike Bell would be paying the Texans a visit Thursday morning. As Texans training camp marches along, a handful of [...]

There’s a place in the NFL away from the gridiron that players rarely talk about in public and that fans hardly notice. It’s a place without stats or the crushing sounds of the gridiron. No refs whistles or cheering fans. Yet players find themselves in this kind of limbo. That’s where I found [...]

Both of the Lions’ two practices yesterday were held outdoors and in helmets and shorts (shells). To some people in Michigan, the fact that the morning practice was outdoors comes as a surprise as a nasty storm system went through the lower thumb area around 7:00 a.m. yesterday. It was north of the Allen [...]
